Jordan approves energy deal with Egypt

The Jordanian cabinet, under Abdullah Ensour, approved on Sunday a cooperation deal to be signed with Egypt over the peaceful use of atomic energy.
Earlier in December, the two countries inked a draft agreement for cooperation in the field of atomic energy.
Under the deal, the two countries will cooperate in the exploration of raw nuclear materials and discuss the use of nuclear energy in producing electricity and desalinating water.
Also, experts from both countries will be trained on the peaceful use of atomic energy.
