Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development is participating in the World Future Energy Summit and in the International Water Summit, which was launched on Monday in Abu Dhabi, under the patronage of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. "Khalifa Fund is very keen to efficiently participate in all government efforts to use the clean and sustainable energy as well as we are working on participate in preserving water resources and reduce water consumption", said Abdullah Saeed Al Darmaki the Chief Executive Officer of Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development. "One example of Khalifa Fund's effort in this aspect is Zaarie program which targeting to convey the farmers from traditional farming which consume huge amount of water into hydroponic farming which use 80% less of water", explained Al Darmaki. "The Fund's booth in the exhibition will contain agriculture products from Amal program which is a result of collaboration with Zayed Higher Organization for special needs, in which high quality agriculture products were produced using the minimum amount of water. On the same time, an Emirati entrepreneur owner of slices projects will be selling their products which are produced using hydroponic technique as well", added Al Darmaki. The exhibition also contains the products of Solar Energy, which is one of Khalifa Fund's supported projects that specialized in clear energy. In addition, there are the products of Q2 project, which also depend on reducing water consumption. Q2 show their giant duck in the front of ADNEC as a promotion idea for reducing water consumption. In addition to the main Khalifa Fund booth, there will be six different projects participating in the exhibition. Those projects and vary in their industry and there will be traditional handicraft which is the products of Sougha initiative which is one of the Fund's supported project. Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development participated in all previous sessions of the exhibition of the World Future Energy Summit through different projects focusing on finding solutions and developing the clean energy.
