A Kuwaiti official underscored on Thursday that Kuwait donated 250,000 euro to cover activities of the IAEA, not the activities of the Iranian atomic agency as a local newspaper erroneously reported. Kuwait's ambassador to Austria and the permanent representative to the UN in Vienna Sadeq Maarafi indicated that the donation fell within Kuwait's earnestness in supporting the IAEA in its endeavors to keep world peace and stability. He told KUNA that the donation was in line with donations given by other countries, among them those of the GCC, to the world's nuclear watchdog, the IAEA, to help cover its activities
