Minister of Electricity Mohamed Shaker
Cairo - MENA

Minister of Electricity Mohamed Shaker asserted that the total loss resulting from sabotage acts against the electricity infrastructure is 150 million pounds.

All the power stations will be guarded by the police and the armed forces, Shaker told MENA.

The police is helping the Electricity Ministry, he said, adding at the electricity company foiled several attempts targeting the electricity grid.

The ministry conducts the fixing within 3 days instead of 3 weeks, he said.

Shaker asserted that the ministry implements the policy precisely and within the framework of an integrated system to protect citizens and state.
