A lost radioactive source in east China's Nanjing City has been found on Saturday, authorities said. No casualties have been reported. A Tianjin engineering company reported the loss of the iridium-192 radioactive source on Wednesday while conducting an inspection operation in a yard of Sinopec at the Puliu north street. An emergency response plan was soon initiated by the city government.The search area was later narrowed to two square meters. The source was found Saturday afternoon and put back into a lead-shielded pot. So far, no casualties by exposure to the radioactive source have been reported.
