Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab conferred on Monday with visiting South Sudan Minister of Electricity and Dams Jemma Nunu Kumba on means of bolstering cooperation between Egypt and South Sudan in all fields.
Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Hossam Moghazi and the South Sudanese ambassador in Cairo attended the meeting.
During the minister, the Sudanese ambassador offered condolences to the premier on the martyrs who were slain in the recent terror attack in Sinai, asserting that his country backs Egypt in its war against terrorism and voiced confidence over Egypt's ability to defeat terrorism.
Mahlab, on his part, asserted that Egypt will overcome the terrorist powers and it stands as a protection shield for the region.
The two sides discussed allocating a piece of land to build headquarters for the embassy of South Sudan in Cairo.
