Marib power plant out of service after attack

The Marib-Sana'a power lines were sabotaged late on Thursday forcing the main gas-powered station in Marib out of service, a source at the Electricity Ministry's control room said, according to Saba News.
"Saboteurs attacked the power lines connected to the second circle in the Marib station by a steel rope forcing the Marib station offline," the official source added.
The attack targeted power transmission lines in Al Shabwan area, the source said, adding that this was the fifth such attack in the same area in less that ten days.
