New generator to support Matrouh power grid
Matrouh Governor Alaa Abu Zeid

Matrouh Governor Alaa Abu Zeid said Monday that a 5,000-kilovolt-amps power generator was installed in Barani city.
The generator cost EGP 862,000 and aims to support the governorate's electricity grid, the governor added.
In addition, the new generator will end the power cut problem in the city during summer months, he said.
