The production of electricity on Thursday is expected to increase by 15 MW, the Egyptian Electric Utility and Consumer Protection Regulatory Agency said.
The expected maximum electricity load for the day will be 28,200 MW, the same of Wednesday, which saw the minimum load at 21,605 MW, the regulator said in a daily bulletin.
The load indicator appeared in green color from midnight to 12:50 p.m., meaning the load was safe at the time.
Turning orange indicates an urgent need to rationalize consumption, while red is a warning of the high load on the power grid.
