Putin to visit Argentina in July over joint projects in energy sector

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has expressed hope to determine joint projects in the energy sector, including in the use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, as part of the visit to Argentina slated for July.
“Argentina is one of Russia’s key partners in Latin America,” Putin said at a ceremony of receiving credentials from foreign ambassadors on Friday.
“During the upcoming visit to Buenos Aires, I hope to discuss a wide range of bilateral and international issues and determine mutually advantageous projects in the energy sector, peaceful use of nuclear technology, machine-building and in the military-technical field,” he said.
