Qatar's National Committee for the Prohibition of Weapons along with Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons will hold tomorrow in Doha a seminar on the chemical weapons convention and safety and security in member countries from Asia.
The seminar aims to raise the awareness of parties dealing with chemicals whether for industrial, agricultural or other peaceful uses. It is the fourth time that the State of Qatar has hosted this seminar.
Qatar's National Committee for the Prohibition of Weapons was formed in accordance to article 4 of the Chemical Weapon Convention. The committee was established by cabinet decision no.26 of 2004.
