Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Shaker on Tuesday said that contracts on setting up Dabaa nuclear plant are in final stages ahead of being signed with the Russian side.

In his speech at the 8th International Middle East Conference on Electrical Power Systems, which is held in Cairo, he added that several important steps have been achieved on this score.

He explained that the plant includes four nuclear power stations at a total capacity of 4,800 megawatt at the highest international security standards.
