Giza Governor Ali Abdel Rahman said that the governorate has started to coordinate with authorities concerned to implement an overall plan to secure transmission towers, transformers and transmission lines from any acts of sabotage.
Abdel Rahman's statements came after his meeting with chairperson of the South Cairo Distribution Company Osama Asran and representatives of Giza security directorate on Sunday.
In the meantime, Asran said that four power plants with 4,000 megawatts, eight high voltage transformers, 24 high voltage power plants and 22 air lines will be set in Giza governorate soon, adding that cameras will be installed on 300 electricity suppliers.
