Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Electricity Abdullah al-Akwa returned home on Sunday after paying a visit for few days to Turkey.
At the visit, al-Akwa handed over a letter from President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi to Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan related to the two brotherly countries' relations and means to develop them.
During their meeting, the Minister said that the Turkish Premier expressed the Turkish government's interest on the peaceful settlement in Yemen, stressing Turkey's commitment to prop up the National Dialogue Conference's (NDC) outcomes and all efforts to ensure the unity, security and stability of Yemen.
He also discussed during his visit with his Turkish counterpart aspects of mutual cooperation in electricity area.
A number of memoranda of understanding have been signed, at the Minister's visit, aiming at enhancing the level of cooperation between the two countries in electricity field.
