Yemen seeks to benefit from surplus of electricity in Ethiopia

Minister of Electricity Saleh Sumai has discussed with Ethiopian Foreign Minister Tedros Adhanom strengthening cooperation between the two friendly countries in the field of electricity. The meeting touched on the possibility of benefiting in Yemen from the surplus of electricity produced in Ethiopia. The two sides agreed ,during the meeting, to begin studying the electrical interconnection between Ethiopia and Yemen across the Red Sea through Djibouti.
