The weather on Sunday is expected to be relatively cold in the hilly areas, pleasant in the Badia region and relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, the Gulf of Aqaba and the Dead Sea. According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), winds will be northwesterly moderate with clouds at various altitudes.
As for Monday and Tuesday, temperatures are forecast to rise 5-7 degrees above their annual average; therefore it will be pleasant in the hilly areas and warm in other parts of the country. Winds will be southeasterly moderate to brisk blowing dust in the desert region, the JMD added.
Temperatures expected in the capital for today will reach a high of 17 degrees Celsius dropping down to 9 degrees at night, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 25 degrees plunging to 15 at night.
