Different parts of Alexandria have been hit by a spree of heavy rains, lightning and thick clouds, flooding the streets and causing a complete halt to traffic.
Alexandria governorate has provided vacuum trucks to pump rainwater out of streets to ensure a smooth traffic.
Alexandria security directorate has intensified traffic services to help ease the pedestrian and traffic movements.
Navigation at Alexandria and Dekaila ports continued regularly and was not affected by the heavy downpours and light winds.
