The Australian government has refused today (Wednesday January 16, 2013) a proposal to grant a (carbon-credit) remuneration to anyone who kills a wild camel. A private firm suggested a plan which gives a "carbon-credit" compensation amount of 70 Australian dollars to anyone who kills a camel. The Australian government the plan lacks in a sufficient details. Australian camels compete with humankind and farm animals for example cattle and goats in order to obtain cereals, fodder and water. The Australian opposition liberal party supported the proposal which claims that to annihilate a herd of 1 million camel equals getting rid of carbon emissions of 300,000 motorcars.
