Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa received Al-Areen Park and Wildlife Reserve general-coordinator Professor Ismail Al-Madani.
He stressed the importance of joint cooperation to promote destinations for tourists and visitors in the Southern Governorate, including Al-Areen Park which plays a crucial role in protecting the wildlife.
He highlighted the natural features and wildlife aspects which characterize the Southern Governorate, stressing the importance of launching initiatives to strengthen and expand joint work.
He underlined the importance of the environment and the wildlife which, he said, represent an integral part of Bahrain’s Arabian authentic heritage as part of sustainable development strategy.
Professor Al-Madani expressed thanks and appreciation to HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa for his keen interest in conserving the environment and the wildlife.
