A couple years ago, Audi R8 Spyder owner Cris Ostberg uploaded a questionable-at-best video of him driving his 18-month old daughter around the streets in his supercar. Well, she's three now and still loves the roar of the R8 V10.At first, you might think this is highly unsafe and illegal, however apparently it's alright to let a child of that age ride in the front seat so long as the airbags have been turned off.His post on VW Vortex says as much, saying "Before the fun police gets here, YES, it's legal for her to ride in the front seat. YES, the passenger airbags are switched off. NO, she doesn't know how to nor have the strength to release the handbrake. NO, she's not tall enough to firmly press the brake while simultaneously moving the shift lever which is what it would take to engage a gear."Well, the Audi R8 V10 is an incredible car and it just shows good taste runs in the family. Judgment however... we will leave that up to you guys to decide. Perhaps the girl's father should get in touch with Stavros Grillis, the 9 and-a-half year old drifting wonder kid from Greece. Although the R8 is not meant for drifting like the BMW 3-Series, he could still seek advice on how to get his daughter prepped for a potential career in motorsport.
