Audi, the luxury auto brand of German automaker Volkswagen, is recalling 779 passenger vehicles sold in South Korea due to a possible fire hazard, South Korea's transport authorities said Monday. Subject to the recall are the A6 2.4Q, A6 2.7Q, A6 3.0Q and the Quattro 2.7T produced between July 20, 2001 and March 1, 2005, according to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. The ministry said a fire could break out in the vehicles in cases where fuel is leaked due to a defective part connecting the rollover valve to the vapor vent line. Free repairs will be available at Audi service centers across the country, the ministry said.
