Experian has revealed that the much loved Audi TT was the best selling used sports car in 2011. A total of 22,677 used Audi TT cars were sold last year, beating the Mazda MX-5 which held the position in 2010. The TT saw a 16.41 per cent increase on the 19,481 units sold in 2010. The best-selling car overall was the Ford Fiesta, for the second consecutive year. In 2011, a total of 290,254 units were sold, a 1.5 per cent increase on the 285,962 units sold in 2010. The Vauxhall Corsa was the second most popular used car for the second consecutive year. In 2011, 288,886 units were sold, a 3.85 per cent increase on the 278,169 Vauxhall Corsas sold in 2010.The best-selling car overall was the Ford Fiesta, for the second consecutive year. Other models in the top ten were the Volkswagen Golf (fifth), the BMW 3-series (sixth), the Renault Clio (seventh) and the Peugeot 206 (ninth).Both Ford and Vauxhall had three cars in the top ten.
