Seoul - Yonhap

South Korea's largest steelmaker POSCO said Wednesday that its cutting-edge weight-saving technology has been applied to Renault's EOLAB concept car, which has a claimed fuel economy of 100 kilometers on a liter of fuel. The company said it has worked with the French carmaker from 2012 to develop hot press forming steel (HPF), twinning induced plasticity steel (TWIP) and magnesium panels that will go into the car to be displayed at the upcoming Paris Motor Show.
