Despite an ongoing dispute with Ferrari, the Italian tuning firm has had time to knock out this stylish Alfa 159.Although discontinued, the Alfa 159 is still an important car and one that will inevitably be replaced in the near future. Here we have a tuned version courtesy of Auto Avio Costruzioni (AAC), a firm that is currently caught up in a legal battle over its name with Ferrari who insist they hold the sole rights to the AAC brand name as it was once Enzo Ferrari's property.Their initial goal was to build a supercar based on the Ferrari 430 but with a V12 instead of V8 engine; however with a court case looming, the project's on hold.In the meantime, the tuning firm is concentrating on the Alfa 159, with this two-tone version their second such project.Simple and elegant, the dark grey bodywork has been enhanced with matte black strips and a Lamborghini-sourced orange roof, while the 1.75-liter turbocharged four pot has been upgraded to produce 240hp.No other details have been made available but we wish the firm well in their fight with the supercar giants.
