Dena set
Tehran - FNA

Head of Iran's largest car maker, the Iran-Khodro Company (IKCO), said the fourth national sedan designed and manufactured by his company would soon enter both domestic and international markets.
As the most luxurious car manufactured by Iran-Khodro, Dena will be mass produced in the first half of the current Iranian year (which started on March 21) and by the end of this year 15000 sets will hit the market," said Hashem Yekehzare, and added, "We are also determined to export this car which is supposed to be produced in our sites abroad."
Emphasizing that Dena is totally designed and developed by Iranian engineers based on national platform and independent of foreign sources, Yekehzare declared, "Dena's technical features meet national and international standards and the regular EF7 engine is accompanied by a manual gearbox, however automatic Dena powered by the turbocharged EF7 and XUM engines will be soon developed."
In the meantime, Yekehzare said, "The design and development of body dies and body shop equipment which were fulfilled by Iranian experts brought about 11 million dollars worth of exchange saving for Iran Khodro."
Claiming that all IKCO Dena parts meet quality standards and were provided by suppliers in IKCO supply chain, the CEO mentioned, "Quality is what matters the most in the design, development and production of Dena, taking into consideration our customers' satisfaction."
