Western Auto, the sole distributor of luxury automotive brand Luxgen in the UAE, has announced the launch of its new Turbo models.
The line-up consists of the S5 Turbo - a luxury sedan; U6 Turbo - a five-seater crossover; and U7 - a seven seater compact SUV, said a statement from the company.
The vehicles possess the advanced 2.2-litre turbocharged engine for the sports utility vehicle (SUV) as well as the multi-purpose vehicle (MPV). The engine is unique because it delivers the power of a bigger six-cylinder engine, while providing the fuel economy of a smaller four-cylinder unit, it stated.
Additionally, Luxgen cars come equipped with lane departure warning system, side view mirror with blind spot monitoring feature, night vision camera, eagle view - a unique 360-degree surround view camera, smart keyless entry and the sophisticated infotainment system (JBL speakers , AV screens) equipped with multimedia, navigation, phone and diagnostic functions, it said.
HTC, a leading Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer, powers the car’s infotainment system.
Luxgen vehicles come with five-year/100,000 km warranty and can be serviced across a wide network of service centres in UAE.
A J Kamal, CEO, Western Auto, said: “We received a strong response for our cars last year, and are sure that the customers will value the new features in the 2015 versions as well.”
“The UAE is an important market for Luxgen and we have the right cars for the 'Reimagined luxury car segment',” he added.
The S5 Turbo luxury sedan is priced at Dh97,000 ($26,408); the U6 Turbo crossover for Dh107,000 ($29,131); and the U7 SUV for Dh139,000 ($37,843).
