Mahmoudia Motors, the sole and official dealer of Jaguar and Land Rover cars in Jordan, unveiled Land Rover’s latest new Discovery Sport, at an event recently.
Held at the dealers showroom in Wadi Saqra, the event drew the participation of a group of media representatives and social media influencers, said a statement.
The attended had the opportunity to test-drive the luxury vehicle and learn more about its latest technology innovations, it said.
As the first member of the new Discovery family, the Discovery Sport features an all-alloy Si4 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that delivers 240 horsepower and 340 Newton-meters of torque.
The model also boasts stop-start technology, high-pressure direct injection, low-friction internal components and smart regenerative charging for outstanding performance and economy.
Embodying a versatile and capable premium compact SUV, the Discovery Sport features five+two seating in a footprint no larger than existing five-seat premium SUVs.
The Discovery Sport’s progressive design approach defines the new Discovery family with optimised volume, proportions and stance. Its design leadership combines with engineering integrity to result in a dynamic profile and the ultimate use of interior space.
