Motorcity, the sole distributor of Chery in Bahrain, has unveiled all-new Chery Tiggo 5 at the Chery showroom in Sanad.
The new model has been built using the iAuto core technology platform and advanced technology research and technology concepts, said a statement.
With a completely new exterior and interior design, the Chery Tiggo 5 meets the demands of SUV owners looking for a medium- to large-sized vehicle in the category.
It has a wheelbase of 2610mm and uses a robust sheet-metal working process, featuring subtle, proportioned body lines as well as a stylish interior design.
It has endured 2.8 million km of road testing and nearly 100,000 hours of bench reliability tests, with nine other rigorous tests to illustrate its quality standard and reliability.

It incorporates high-strength steel plates and a collision absorbing design in its construction to ensure safety of driver and passengers.
It has al so made efforts to reduce pedestrian collision damage in accordance with international safety standards, reflecting that the brand is aligning with international best practice.
Tiggo 5 is also competitive with its standard features, which include keyless entry/start, reverse camera, infotainment, and electric windows with one-touch operation for all doors, front seat electric adjustment, electric sunroof, and ESP, highlighting its comfort, convenience and safety.
The new Chery Tiggo 5 is equipped with a 2.0L DVVT gasoline engine, which delivers a maximum power of 137 HP and maximum torque of 182Nm, combined with a CVT automatic transmission.
