The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class made its Bahrain debut yesterday (June 22).
Unveiling the new car was Al Haddad Motors director Abdulla Al Haddad and general manager Graem Newport along with other company officials, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
The new premium medium-size category car has reduced its weight by 100kg compared to its predecessor while at the same time has grown to take account of people's increasing average height.
The engine is equipped with the economy start/stop function that will cut fuel consumption by up to 20 per cent compared with the preceding model.
Mercedes-Benz has used four cylinder petrol engines with power outputs ranging from 156 to 245 horsepower in the new C-Class.
A six-cylinder petrol engine boasting 333hp will soon be released.
