Audi's next TT will likely be lighter and more powerful than the current model. A test mule for the next generation Audi TT has just been spotted by our always attentive spy photographers during some cold weather testing in Sweden.Unfortunately, not much of the new design can be seen here. However, we can tell that the wheelbase will grow slightly and also that the wheel arches on this mule are looking wider. The sound when it passed our photographers was also more "mature" but it could also depend on the non-finished exhaust system. Few other details have been revealed, but we do know that both front- and all-wheel-drive will still be offered and that Audi wants to reduce overall weight as much as possible. It's also been confirmed that the next TT will be based on parent company Volkswagen's new MQB transverse architecture. We'll see the first car to ride on this platform next week at Geneva with Audi revealing their new A3.
