The Board of Trustees of Rashid bin Humaid Award for Culture and Science in Ajman has endorsed the winners of the 31st Arawd's edition which included Kuwaiti writer Hiba Mandi who won first place in the children's literature category and the academic Dr. Ali Watfa who won second place for social studies.
Mandy said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that she was pleased with this win, pointing out that this proves and demonstrates the attention of the State of Kuwait given to its nationals to demonstrate their talents in the various cultural domains.
She extended thanks for those who were behind the success of this edition of the Award, hailing this event for enrichment of the cultural and intellectual movement in the Arabian Gulf.
Rashid bin Humaid Award for Culture and Sciences includes the the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nationals and residents.
