The Arab Media Forum Authority announced on Monday an initial cooperation agreement with the Foreign Press Association in London on a number of activities and joint events, as well as on issues of importance in the Arab media field.A press statement said AMF Secretary General Madhi Al-Khamis and association President Hosni Emam agreed to bolster joint efforts and hold joint events and projects.The agreement states on exchange of expertise and on an overall aim of bolstering positive media presence and of countering the misconceptions about Arabs and the Arab World and its issues. There are to be training courses, workshops, conferences, and stress on care on young media staff and journalists.The AMF had signed several cooperation agreements so far into 2011 with a number of institutions and professional associations dealing with media and information
