Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc stated on Monday that AA's new broadcast in Kurdish would have positive results on the solution process in Turkey and said "I notice that we will have a close friendship with both our people and the ones in our neighbouring countries and that AA has achieved a great task. I congratulate AA for it." Arinc formerly had said, "with its Kurdish broadcast, AA will constitute a strong bridge between Turkey and Kurdish population in surrounding countries, our Kurdish brothers, sisters and public opinion there, just like it does with Bosnian in the Balkans and Arabic broadcasts in the Middle East." AA has increased the number of languages it broadcasts to six, adding Kurdish to five languages it already publishes news in. Kurdish language will enrich the diversity of AA news with its two dialects, Kurmanji and Sorani. Addition of Kurdish language was welcomed by politicians, academicians and NGOs while becoming one of the positive steps the agency has taken for its vision of becoming one of the five most effective news agencies of the world. Deputy Chairman of Justice and Development (AK) Party Mehmet Ali Sahin had also stated on Monday that AA's adding Kurdish language in its broadcasts would also benefit the solution process in Turkey. Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu also praised the new step, saying it was important that AA continued developing itself and keeping its credibility. The spokesman for the regional administration in north of Iraq, Sefin Dizayi congratulated AA and said the AA presence in Irbil and Suleymaniyah was very important for them, adding that AA was an organization covering political, economic and cultural developments in Kurdish administration in north of Iraq with correct and honest journalism. BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) leader Selahattin Demirtas and BDP lawmakers welcomed the move too. News, photos and videos will be served on News Flow System (HAS) and AA will serveKurdish news on http://www.aa.com.tr/kk in Kurmanji dialect and “http://www.aa.com.tr/ks” in Sorani dialect.
