Bahrain journalists association organises workshop

The Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) on Saturday organised a workshop featuring the process of "Media Coverage of Election" at the Association's premises.
The workshop attracted correspondents who would perform press and TV coverage of the upcoming elections. The workshop was presented by Dr. Lulua Bu Dolama and Mahmeed Al-Mahmeed.
Dr. Lulua talked about the official timetable of upcoming municipal and parliamentary elections, media regulations and the fundamentals of media coverage of elections.
Mahmeed talked about the media coverage of elections and its important and essential role. He also pointed to journalists readiness and proper planning, avoidable errors in coverage and international principles of media coverage of elections.
Towards the conclusion of the workshop, the BJA's President Moanis Al-Mardi honoured the workshop participants and lecturers, lauding their efforts throughout the workshop.
