Bahraini Journalists Association (BJA) is participating in the meetings of Secretariat General and Permanent Bureau of the Federation of Arab Journalists (FAJ), held in Tangier, Morocco on February 8-11.
The BJA delegation comprises Financial Secretary Abdullah Khalid Al-Dossary and Secretary-General Mohammed Ismail.
In today's meeting, the Secretariat General approved the previous meeting's final communique and discussed FAJ's plan for 2015.
The Permanent Bureau meeting will discuss the report submitted by FAJ Secretary-General and the financial report, and review the draft amendment of FAJ's Statute.
The panel will approve the work plan of the standing committee for freedoms, issue the final communique, recommendations and decisions in the "Tangier Statement."
