The EU Sunday condemned beheading of Haruna Yukawa, a Japanese hostage, by ISIL terrorist group, as yet another demonstration that this organisation's ideology and actions are in breach of all universally recognized values and rights.
Catherine Ray, the spokesperson for EU High Representative Federica Mogherini, in a statement called for the immediate release of the second Japanese hostage, Kenji Goto.
"The EU is more committed than ever to supporting international efforts to fight all the terrorist groups that endanger human lives as well as global stability," it said.
"Together with international and regional partners, the EU will spare no effort to ensure that an end is put to this terrorist campaign and all perpetrators are brought to justicem" it added.
