Minister of Information Affairs and the Official Spokesperson of the Government Sameera Ebrahim bin Rajab and Social Development Minister Dr. Fatima Mohammed Al Balooshi were yesterday honoured after being selected among the most powerful Arab woman in government in this year's Forbes Middle East 200 Most Powerful Arab Women.
Patronised by the UAE Minister of Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development Shaikh Nahyan Mubarak Al Nahyan, the glittering ceremony was attended by senior government officials, leading businessmen, media figures and diplomats from across the Arab World.
The Minister of State for Information Affairs expressed pride in her choice among the most influential Arab women in government, commending the efforts of the officials of Fobes Magazine for highlighting the Arab women's pioneering role in strategies' development and decision-making in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
Through shedding light on the achievements of the 200 Arab world’s most powerful women from family business, government and executive management, Forbes Middle East aims to acknowledge and celebrate the vital roles of female leaders in the public and private sectors as they help shape the success of the MENA region.
