GCC Media officials hold their 24th meeting

The GCC External Information Officials are to hold their 24th meeting on Wednesday at the headquarters of the GCC General Secretariat in Riyadh. They will discuss topics concerning the joint march of external information sector between the GCC countries, organizing works and activities of GCC Days in Moscow in the 2nd quarter of this year (2012). The GCC External Information Officials will also review the General Secretariat''s Memorandum on the media movement in the United States of America and the steps undertaken in this regard, the implementation mechanism of the GCC media strategy regarding the external projection of the true image of the GCC countries and other related issues. It is worth to mention that the cooperation council for the arab states of the gulf (GCC) which was established in Abu Dhbai in 1980 comprises each of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Kuwait, the State of Qatar, the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
