Diplomatic missions and KUNA offices abroad should immensely highlight Kuwait's foreign policies, KUNA chief stressed on Wednesday.
Board Chairman and Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah made this remark to KUNA on the fringes of his meeting with Kuwait's charge d'affaires in Cairo counselor Mohammad Al-Mohammad.
He said that not only should Kuwaiti diplomatic missions focus on events taking place in foreign countries but they should also shed light on Kuwait's participation in international activities.
Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij, meanwhile, lauded the Kuwait-Egypt intimate relation on many domains that has been enhanced through efforts exerted by the Kuwaiti Embassy in Cairo.
Similarly, the Kuwaiti charge d'affaires said that KUNA, in general, and its Cairo office, in particular, plays a major role in Kuwait's foreign policies through underlining Kuwaiti supportive stance on many regional and international fronts.
He added the Kuwaiti Embassy in Cairo has provided all means possible for KUNA's office to carry out, with ease, its responsibilities.
The meeting, which took place at Kuwait Embassy, was attended by First secretary Mohammad Al-Ouraifan, Third Secretary Ahmad Al-Enezi, other diplomats and KUNA Public Relations and Marketing Director Essam Al-Ruwayeh.
