Kuwaiti PM
Kuwait - KUNA

His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah urged more care to young Kuwaiti journalists and all those working in the field of media and journalism so that they may contribute to the homeland's development through their skills and professionalism, a media figure said.
The remark came in a press conference, Monday, by Chairman of the Higher Committee of the Premier's prize for journalistic excellence Ayman Al-Ali, held after the premier's reception of committee members.
Al-Ali said the premier had stressed that the success of this contest, particularly most recently with great stress on youth and with introduction of categories appealing to youth, was praiseworthy.
The meeting was an opportunity to apprise the premier with the achievements of the sixth round of the prize and contest, he said, and the most important developments prepared for next year.
The committee members work tirelessly to uphold and implement the recommendations and directives of the contest patron. The latest additions, Al-Ali noted, are the prizes for "best program presented" and "best report".
"Our success would not have been possible without the unwavering support of His Highness the Prime Minister who spares no effort to boost development of Kuwaiti press and journalism,"
