Under the patronage of Deputy Premier, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD), will this month hold the Second Gulf Political Media Forum, with a wide participation of leading Gulf media figures and journalists.
The forum aims to bolster the culture of differences and pluralism based within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) societies.
HM the King's Media Affairs Adviser and BIPD Chairman, Nabil bin Yacoub Al-Hamar, highlighted the significance of boosting the concepts of differences and pluralism and the role they have in inspiring GCC societies to boost development.
He said that the rapid development calls for developing a national vision to enhance societies that share a common destiny.
He underlined the culture of differences that requires a clear media vision to deal with differences flexibly and open-mindedly, so as to contribute to converging cultures and perspectives and to creating a common ground for understanding and cooperation.
