Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Manama - Arab Today

Director of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa Media and Information Office Mr. Tawfiq Al Salehi pointed out that the office has begun taking executive measures to implement HH Shaikh Nasser's directives for the organisation of a training course on key media skills of covering all aspects of horse sports. Al Salehi explained that the course would shed light on various aspects, including the skills that the commentator, the broadcaster or the photographer must have in covering the horse sport activities, namely, the endurance races, showjumping events as well as the Arabian Horse Beauty shows.

"The event will also incorporate the technical sides of these sports and how to compose a media material that suits them and how to cover horse sport events at local and international levels. The participants of the course will also have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge on the technical side of such sports as it will throw light on the special terms being used in horse activities," explained Mr Al Salehi, adding that the HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa Media and Information Office will announce at a later stage the date on which the course will be held as well as the name of the lecturers who will conduct it.

Mr Al Salehi advised those interested to email the word "subscription" to mediacourse.bh@gmail.com along with their contact numbers and addresses. It's worth mentioning that this course is different than the previous ones as it requires the individual interested in participation to personally follow horse sport events and to decide in which part of the course they want to take part. Moreover, after the announcement of the course the Media Office received many inquiries about when the event will take place.
