The National Election Committee has opened the accreditation process for media representatives who will be covering the Federal National Council, FNC, Elections 2015 on October 3rd.
The committee has said that it is keen to extend maximum cooperation with local media outlets, including newspapers, radio and television stations, to ensure better logistical preparations that will enable the media to cover the electoral process from various regions in the country.
Applications for media accreditation will be accepted until July 15th. Media passes for the elections will allow media personnel entry to polling stations in all the regions in the country as well as enable them to attend press conferences and interview spokespersons of the National Election Committee during Election Day. They will also be able to witness the announcement of the election results in Abu Dhabi.
