Former prime minister and President Pakistan Muslim League-N, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, on Tuesday said the PML-N would attain a historic success in the next general elections.
“We will constitute such a tenacious social media force by which opponents’ plans will
go to the drain,” he added.
Addressing a mammoth social media convention at the PML-N Model Town Secretariat,
he said the PML-N agenda was to develop Pakistan and they were making all-out efforts to
materialise it.
He said that everybody was well aware of the four years performance of the PML-N
governmnet and the people would elect the party again in Election 2018.
PML-N stalwart Maryam Nawaz also addressed the
convention.

Addressing the convention, Nawaz Sharif termed his ouster
unjustified and said the decision regarding his
disqualification had halted country’s progress. He said,
General Musharraf violated the Constitution but a case against
him was still pending in the court.
He said, one family was punished and baseless references
were being filed against it while, on other side, lies and
dishonesty of others were being concealed.
He lambasted PTI Chief Imran Khan for his negative politics
and said he openly had accepted the assets as his but was
cleared in all cases. “A ladla is exonerated despite admitting to
his crime.”
He said, Imran would not be out LBW or caught but clean bold
during the 2018 elections. “You will not be able to win the
elections,” Nawaz told Imran.
Claiming the credit, the PML-N President said, load-shedding and terrorism had been eliminated in Pakistan, adding that conspiracies of enemies would fizzle out soon.
Addressing the youth, the former prime minister expressed
optimism that the youth would transform Pakistan into a better
place. “You (the youth) will take the country forward.”
Nawaz eulogised the people for their overwhelm participation
in the convention and asked the participants to convey his message
about the party’s agenda of progress everywhere in the country.
Earlier, addressing the PML-N social media convention, PML-N
leader Maryam Nawaz made it clear that the doctrine of necessity
could not withstand the ideology of democracy. “‘Nawaz ideology’
revolves around adulteration-free democracy,” she added.
She said those elected by voters could not be minus and a
few elements could not impose their ideology on 200 million
people of Pakistan.
Maryam said the PML-N’s social media activists were playing
an effective role in highlighting the Muslim League- Nawaz’s
agenda for a prosperous Pakistan. She urged the PML-N president
to fully back them.
She said that their opponents were scared of PML-N’s social
media force, adding that the social media team of the party was
effectively spreading the ideology of Nawaz Sharif across
Pakistan.
She said that her father experienced hardships because he
opted for the right path, instead of taking an easy way out.
