Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry is taking part in the Gulf Economic Media Forum II, currently underway at Asharqia Chamber in Dammam. The two-day forum, which kicked off Tuesday, sees a wide participation of media people and economists from the Gulf as they take part in and chair sessions, and submitted a number of working papers. The forum has three main sessions with the first discussing Gulf media’s ability to cope, the second session looking at enhancing trust between the developmental scene’s parties and media, while the third one addresses new media and how it fares against print media. On the sidelines of the forum, which is organized in cooperation with the Federation of GCC Chambers’ general secretariat, a workshop is held on building professional reports and economic analyses to discuss the structure and content of economic reports besides studying cases of economic reports from local and foreign media.
