A Russian media delegation from the Russian News Agency arrived Cairo coming from Moscow on Saturday to carry out an interview with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The delegation came on board of a Russian airlines plane, said security sources in Cairo International Airport.
The delegation is led by Vladimir Shuster who is a program presenter at Russian Tass News Agency.
The Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Egypt on February 9-10 upon an invitation from Sisi.
The two sides will probe means of enhancing joint ties as well as a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
They will also discuss the latest developments in the Middle East, Libya and Syria as well as the peace process between the Palestinians and Israelis.
