Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah held talks Tuesday with ambassadors of Bangladesh and Burkina Faso to Kuwait over expanding media cooperation.
In a press statement, the Ministry of Information said that Sheikh Salman Al-Hamoud affirmed during a meeting with Bangladeshi ambassador the ministry's readiness to allocate hours for radio broadcast in Bangladesh language to raise Bangladeshi residents' awareness about the state laws, health, customs systems as well as traditions.
For his part, Bangladeshi Ambassador praised Ministry of Information's efforts to help Bangladeshi living in Kuwait. He also spoke highly about Kuwait's support of Bangladesh in different domains and levels. He added that his country is looking forward to enhancing bilateral cooperation and with Kuwait.
Sheikh Salman also met Burkina Faso ambassador. The meeting focused on means to strengthen bilateral relations especially in the field of media and cross-cultural joint ventures.
For his part, Burkina Faso ambassador lauded Kuwait's support to African countries, particularly its finance of many infrastructure projects.
