German pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland will expand its video-on-demand (VOD) service Sky Anytime. From 7 January 2012, subscribers will be able to watch selected TV series up to seven days after their initial TV screening in full length. Subscribers of the channels which show the series can access the episodes they missed without additional charge through HD digital video recorder (DVR) Sky+. The new service will kick off for example with the sixth series of BBC production "Spooks", the first series of "Strike Back - Project Dawn" and the sixth series of mystery series "Supernatural". In the next weeks the currently aired series of "Dr. Who", "Shameless", "The Walking Dead", "True Blood" and "Boardwalk Empire" will follow, among other titles.
