Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc attended a signing ceremony on cooperation protocol in radio & television broadcasting between Turkey and Georgia as well as a cooperation agreement between Turksat and Blackseasat. Delivering a speech in the ceremony, Arinc said that an important step was taken in communications between Turkey and Georgia with the agreement between Turksat and Blackseasat. The cooperation would yield successful results for the region, he said. Arinc said that a cooperation protocol was also signed between the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation, TRT and Georgian State and Adjara televisions. Georgian Deputy Prime Minister Giorgi Baramidze said that Georgia attached a great importance to cooperation with Turkey. The cooperation between TRT and Georgian State Television was important not only for Georgian state but also for television channels in Georgia, he said.
