Turkish journalist-writer Yusuf Unal filed a complaint to Istanbul Chief Prosecutor's Office against the leader of the Gulenmovement, Fethullah Gulen. Before submitting his complaint, Unal told reporters that a month has already passed since December 17 anti-graft operations, and that they did not know whether or not Gulen had immunity. "The leader of the parallel state is evident. His actions and words are clear. And punishments for them are also obvious in the laws," Unal said. Stating that some police chiefs conducted arbitrary operations to corrode the government, Unal said, "Attempts to wear out Turkey's government are still continuing. Those attempts cost our country billions of dollars. Gulen should be extradited from US and his connections with Israel must be investigated." Unal also called on prosecutors to carry out their duties for the sake of the country's peace.
